Main Floor Renovation with Personality
This project reworked a fragmented suburban main floor into a more open and connected family space, with a stronger sense of personality introduced through color, material contrast, and custom built-ins.
Design approach
The design used layout adjustments, built-ins, and a restrained material palette to create stronger cohesion across the main floor. Warm neutrals were layered with deeper accents to bring depth while keeping the overall atmosphere calm and balanced.

Outcome
The main floor now feels more open, connected, and intentional. Storage is better integrated, the spaces relate more naturally to one another, and the home feels both more functional for daily life and more visually resolved.
